Willett Family Estate 2-Year Small Batch Rye Review

 THE OFFICIAL REVIEW

Although Willett Distilling Company is in fact not a distiller at all, it has masterfully bottled some of the best bourbon and rye though its parent company, Kentucky Bourbon Distillers.  The company creates lots of amazing products under the Willett name but many others under different names like Black Maple Hill, Johnny Drum, Old Bardstown, Noah’s Mill and Rowan’s Creek to name a few.

Willett Small Batch 2 Year Rye

The Willett Family Estate 2-Year Small Batch Rye is an amazing everyday product that is reasonably priced, easy to find and delicious.  It has a wonderful vanilla nose with spicy pepper and rye notes.  The finish is warm from the rye with smoky vanilla notes.  The balance of the sweetness and the spiciness from the rye is what makes this bottle work so well.  It has all of the rye flavor, coupled with the perfect amount of heat.

Enjoy neat or with a tiny ice cube.  Bottled at 109.4 Proof.
