Old Fitzgerald 11 Year

This Old Fitzgerald is distilled by the folks at Heaven Hill and then aged for 11 years in oak barrels.  The paper seal attached to the cap and the bottle denotes that this bottle is bottled-in-bond; in accordance to the Bottle-in-Bond Act that went into law in 1901.

The nose of this bourbon is spicy and boozy.  The taste is warm and spicy with some sweet vanilla notes.  The finish is short and oaky.

I really enjoyed this pour, it was a nice holiday treat.
