With everything we all had gone through during the pandemic, we decided to focus on some additional self-care and, for us, that meant updating different rooms in our home – starting with our bedroom. We didn’t want to have to spend a lot to make these changes, so picking up a colorful area rug, upgrading our down comforter, getting the best mattress ever and – of course, finding a statement upholstered headboard for our bed was a must! And while they can certainly range in price depending on materials and size, we were able to find ours on sale and the same will go for you this Memorial Day Weekend!

As you can tell, it seems like all the top brands are slashing prices left and right. As always, choose whichever is best for your situation and budget, but be sure to look for ones that are offering free delivery (and even free returns) as shipping on items like this can be a bit expensive.
Overall, when it comes to headboards – let’s be real – it’s not rocket science. There are a ton of options out there, but it really comes down to the fabric, the style, the color/pattern choice, and what you like. What’s going to look best in your room and with your bed? As far as options there are a few things to consider like, do you want:
- Wingback
- Curved
- Panel
- Tall/Dramatic Statement
And then then there’s options like:
- Wall-Mounted
- Bed Frame Mounted
- Free Standing
You can, of course, buy and entire bed with the upholstered headboard (but that can get pricy). So, personally, we went with just the headboard that we were able to connect to our existing bed frame (it was easy to set up and took us no more than 20 minutes in total).
Our only advice when it comes to wall-mounted is that you really have to make sure you’re never going to move your room around after that because no only will it leave holes in your wall, but it’s kind of a pain to uninstall.
