Four championships, won under three different city names. Cleveland in 1945, Los Angeles in 1951, St. Louis in 1999, Los Angeles again in 2021. No other franchise in the NFL has done that, and most fans of this team have at some point had to explain to somebody why their childhood memories are set in the wrong state.
That’s the thing that makes shopping for a Rams fan different. You aren’t buying a city, you’re buying an era, and the eras don’t line up. A Greatest Show item and a SoFi item are for two different people who may well be in the same family.
The helmet is what connects all of it. In 1947 a Rams halfback called Fred Gehrke, who had studied art in college, painted horns onto about seventy-five helmets in his own garage for a dollar apiece. It was the first logo any team in professional football put on a helmet, and every helmet mark in every sport since traces back to it.
Twenty things below. Five are under fifty dollars, the cheapest is fifteen, and there’s one stitched jersey selling for a quarter of what it should cost, which is the single best thing on this page.
