Six championships in eight seasons, in two clean runs of three. No other franchise has managed two three-peats with the same core, and the eighteen months in the middle were spent playing minor league baseball in Alabama.
That is the problem with buying a Bulls fan a gift. Everything worth owning points at a stretch that ended in 1998, and the shelves are full of Jordan merchandise that says nothing more specific than the fact that Michael Jordan existed.
The way through it is to buy the year rather than the logo. A 1996-97 jersey is the Flu Game. A 1995-96 pinstripe is seventy-two wins. A signed 1997-98 is the last shot he took in that uniform. Those are gifts. A poster of a man dunking is decoration.
Twenty things below. Six are under fifty dollars, the cheapest is twelve, and one warning worth having early: the cheapest genuine Michael Jordan autograph on the open market is eight thousand dollars, and there is a specific reason for that which we get into further down.

Twelve dollars, four inches tall, no size to guess and nothing to return. Six titles in eight seasons is the whole argument and this says it.
Chicago Bulls Decade of Dominance Emblem
Twelve dollars, four inches tall, and it is a straight reference to the only decade in NBA history that went the way this one did.
Six titles in eight seasons, in two clean runs of three. Nobody else has managed two three-peats with the same core.
There is no size to get wrong, no fit to guess and nothing to return. That is worth more than it sounds in a category where half the gifts come back.
It sticks to a laptop lid, a toolbox, a fridge or a car, and it will still be there in ten years.
This is the cheapest real object in the guide and the one with the least that can go wrong with it. Buy it alongside something else rather than on its own if you are worried it looks slight, but do not skip it: a four inch emblem that says exactly what the person already believes is a better small gift than another keychain. The team store is Bulls-operated rather than a Fanatics storefront, so check its return window at checkout rather than assuming the 30 days you get elsewhere.
Under Fifty
Five things between eighteen and forty-five dollars, including the book Jordan hated, the newest banner in the building, and the one garment here that is in stock in every size.
The Jordan Rules by Sam Smith
Sam Smith covered the 1990 to 1991 season for the Chicago Tribune with the kind of access nobody gets any more, and published what he saw.
It came out in 1992, months after the first title, and it is not a celebration. It is a book about a team that won a championship while barely tolerating each other.
Jordan was furious about it. Much of what the book alleged has since been confirmed by the people in it, including in The Last Dance nearly thirty years later.
Read next to any modern retelling it is the corrective, because it was written before anybody knew there would be five more.
Get the 2020 reissue, ISBN 9781982165383, published by Gallery Books, which carries a new introduction Smith wrote after The Last Dance aired. The original 1992 hardcover circulates under ISBN 9780671744915 at a different page count and without that material. Bookshop fulfils through a distributor rather than its own warehouse, so allow a week and do not promise anybody two-day delivery.
Chicago Bulls Stance Hardwood Classic Mini Ball Socks
Stance is the official on-court sock of the NBA, which means this is the same construction players are actually wearing rather than a novelty item with a logo on it.
Hardwood Classics is the league's licensed throwback programme, so the colourway is tied to the title-era palette rather than to whatever the club is wearing this season.
Under twenty-five dollars for something a basketball player will genuinely use is a narrow category, and most of what fills it is junk.
If the person you are buying for still plays, this is the item on the page they will get the most days out of.
Large is not merely the only size in stock. It is the only size that exists on this listing. There is no small, no medium and no extra large to fall back on. That makes this a fine gift for an adult with normal to large feet and a bad one for anybody else, so check before you buy rather than after. If the size is wrong for your person, the For Bare Feet Black Wave socks at $19.99 and the 4-Stripe Deuce Sock at $20.00 are both single-size alternatives on the same store.
Youth Chicago Bulls Derrick Rose Caricature T-Shirt by Mitchell and Ness
The Bulls retired Derrick Rose's number 1 on January 24, 2026, in a ceremony after the Boston game. It was the first number this club had retired since Pippen in 2005.
That makes five retired numbers in total: 1 Rose, 4 Jerry Sloan, 10 Bob Love, 23 Jordan and 33 Pippen. Any guide still telling you there are four is out of date.
He is still the youngest Most Valuable Player in NBA history, at twenty-two, in 2011. He is also from Englewood, on the South Side, which is the part Chicago cares about most.
For a kid who has only ever known the Bulls as a team that misses the playoffs, this is the banner they actually watched go up.
Youth small, medium and large are in stock and extra large is gone. Note that this is the youth tee: the adult Mitchell and Ness Good or Great hoodie at $82.95 quotes the line Rose used in his retirement speech and is a better object, but large and extra large are both sold out on it, which rules it out as a gift for most adults. If your person happens to be a small, medium or 3XL, go and look at it.
Chicago Bulls New Era Past Champs 1920 Snapback
Past Champs is a nod to the six banners, which on this particular team is the only thing a hat really needs to say.
It is a snapback rather than a fitted cap, so there is no head size to get wrong and no returns problem waiting for you.
Forty-two dollars puts it below almost every fitted wool cap in the category, and the adjustable back is genuinely the better call for a gift.
The Bulls logo is the most recognised mark in basketball and one of the most recognised in any sport, which is why this works on somebody who has not watched a game since 1998.
Buying a fitted cap for somebody whose head you have not measured is the single most common way to get a sports gift wrong, and this sidesteps it entirely. One size, adjustable, done. The Bulls store also carries five Mitchell and Ness snapbacks between $23.95 and $29.95 if you want to spend less, all one size, all in stock at the time of writing.
Ladies Chicago Bulls Nike Championship Ring T-Shirt
The graphic is the six championship rings, which is the whole argument of this franchise rendered as a single image.
Small through 2XL were all in stock, which makes this the most reliably available garment on the page and the safest apparel gift here.
1991, 1992, 1993, then 1996, 1997, 1998. Two three-peats with the same core, separated by the eighteen months Jordan spent playing minor league baseball.
Nike women's cut rather than a unisex tee resized, which is the difference most of this category gets wrong.
Nike women's tees run small, so size up one. The Bulls store carries forty-three women's items, which is unusually deep for an NBA team shop, and the Pro Standard neutral cropped tee at $40.00, the Nike modern crop tee at $40.00 and the New Era statement tee at $45.00 are all live alternatives if the ring graphic is not right for your person.
Wearing It
Two current-roster jerseys for people who still watch, and two sewn Authentics from the years everybody actually means.
Youth Chicago Bulls Josh Giddey Nike Icon Edition Swingman Jersey
Every youth size was in stock, which makes this the best availability of anything in the guide and the least likely thing here to disappoint on arrival.
Giddey wears number 3 and is the closest thing this roster has to a face. Icon Edition is the red uniform, which is the one a kid will actually want.
It is worth being honest with a young Bulls fan: this team went 31 and 51 last season and missed the play-in. The jersey is not a bet on a contender, it is a jersey.
There is a new coach, Tiago Splitter, hired in June after Billy Donovan resigned, and a rookie in Caleb Wilson taken fourth overall out of North Carolina.
The store is serving the adult product photograph on the youth listing, so what you see on the page is not a picture of the kids' garment. Youth sizing runs by age band rather than by adult small, medium and large, so use the store's youth chart rather than assuming. If a hundred dollars is too much, the Outerstuff baseball-style jersey on the same store is $69.00. Avoid the personalised versions as gifts: they are non-returnable.
Chicago Bulls Josh Giddey Nike Icon Edition Swingman Jersey
This is the only current-roster adult jersey in the guide, and it is here because a guide made entirely of 1990s memorabilia is a museum rather than a gift list.
Small through 2XL were in stock and only 3XL was gone. Icon Edition is the red road-heritage uniform.
The same jersey exists for Matas Buzelis, Nic Claxton, Norman Powell, Zach Collins and the rookie Caleb Wilson at the same price if your person has a different favourite.
Powell arrived this summer on two years and forty-five million, which is the club's clearest statement that it is not tanking again.
Swingman is the middle construction tier. It is not the on-court Authentic, and saying so up front avoids a specific kind of disappointment from anybody who knows the difference. NBA Swingmans are cut athletically and run slim, so size up if the person prefers a relaxed fit. The personalised Icon at $145.00 and the personalised Association at $175.00 are both non-returnable, which makes the stock player jersey the safer gift by a distance.
Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls 1996-97 Red Authentic Jersey by Mitchell and Ness
Small through 5XL, every single one in stock. Nothing else in this guide comes close on availability, and for a $350 gift that matters more than it sounds.
1996 to 1997 is the season after 72 and 10, and it is the season of the Flu Game: Game 5 in Salt Lake City on June 11, 1997, 38 points, a three with forty-six seconds left, and Jordan collapsing into Pippen's arms at the end of it.
Worth knowing before you repeat the name: Jordan and his trainer Tim Grover have both since said it was not flu at all but food poisoning. The points and the result are settled. The cause is not.
Authentic is the top Mitchell and Ness tier, tailored to the original team specification rather than the mass-market cut, and this one is marked exclusive to Mitchell and Ness.
Authentic is not Swingman and it is not Replica. It is the heavy, on-court-specification build, and it runs boxy and large, so most buyers should take one size down from their normal. Do not put it in a machine dryer. Mitchell and Ness gives 30 days to return rather than the 100 days you get from a league shop, and free standard shipping applies over $150, so this qualifies. The Bulls team store carries some of the same jerseys at $300 to $350 but with far thinner size runs, so buy direct.
Scottie Pippen Chicago Bulls 1997-98 Red Authentic Jersey by Mitchell and Ness
1997 to 1998 is the Last Dance season, and Pippen's part in it is the best argument in basketball about what a second-best player is worth.
In that final title year he was paid under $2.8 million. Jordan was paid $33.1 million. Pippen was the sixth-highest-paid player on his own team.
League-wide he was the 122nd-highest-paid player in the NBA while playing on a 62-win champion. He signed with Houston the following summer for eleven million.
The number that did it was an extension he signed in 1991 worth eighteen million, structured to run all the way through 1998. Security at twenty-six, a bad trade by thirty-two.
Same Authentic construction and the same advice as the Jordan above: boxy period cut, size down one, no machine dryer, 30-day return window. Size availability on this particular listing was not confirmed variant by variant, so check what is left before you commit to it as the gift. If you want the version with his signature on it, there are two further down this page, and both cost roughly three times as much.
The Ones With a Signature
Six signed pieces from a hundred and forty dollars to fifteen thousand, and a straight answer about why the cheapest real Jordan costs eight grand.
Dennis Rodman Autographed 8 by 10 Rebound Photograph
This is the least expensive genuine title-era Bulls autograph available anywhere, and it is a real hand signature rather than a printed or machine-applied one.
Rodman won seven consecutive rebounding titles from 1991 through 1998, three of them in Chicago. Nobody else has strung together seven.
In the 72 and 10 season he averaged 14.9 rebounds, which was his lowest figure of the seven and still led the league comfortably.
He was signed in October 1995 as a reclamation risk after San Antonio gave up on him, and the front office took the gamble because the one thing the Bulls did not have was a rebounder.
This carries a Fanatics Authentic hologram and an online-verifiable certificate. It is not third-party graded: there is no PSA, Beckett or JSA encapsulation at this price. That is normal for the category and perfectly legitimate, but it is a lower tier than the Beckett Witnessed card further down and it is worth knowing which you are buying. The price is for the unframed 8 by 10. Framing is an upcharge, and the 11 by 14 and 16 by 20 versions are $149.99.
Dennis Rodman Autographed Black 1997-98 Mitchell and Ness Replica Jersey
The Last Dance season colourway with a real Rodman signature on it, at a price where signed jerseys usually start much higher.
1997 to 1998 was his third and final year in Chicago and the third title of the second three-peat.
One thing that is genuinely documented rather than folklore: he left the team before Game 4 of the 1998 Finals to appear at a World Championship Wrestling event with Hulk Hogan, and was fined twenty thousand dollars for it.
He began dyeing his hair in the 1993 to 1994 season in San Antonio, starting with bleached blonde, and the individual colours are not reliably dated to individual games no matter what anybody tells you.
This is a replica jersey, not an Authentic. The base garment is the cheap tier and what you are actually buying is the signature, which is the right trade at this price but should not come as a surprise. A signed white 1997-98 Swingman is also $299.99, and a framed black version is $449.99. Signed jerseys tend to be single-unit, single-size stock, so check what size is actually on offer before you order. Authentication is a Fanatics Authentic hologram with online verification.
Scottie Pippen Autographed Mitchell and Ness Black 1995-1996 Pinstripe Authentic Jersey
This is the good version. The listing says both Pinstripe and Authentic, which means the signature sits on the top-tier garment rather than on a replica.
1995 to 1996 is the 72 and 10 season, and the black pinstripe is the alternate the team wore through it.
Be careful how you describe the record. Golden State went 73 and 9 in 2015 to 2016 and broke it. What still stands is the Bulls' combined regular season and playoff mark of 87 and 13, and the fact that the Warriors lost the Finals that year and Chicago did not.
A footnote people miss: Steve Kerr played on the 72-win Bulls and coached the 73-win Warriors, so he is the only person on both.
It is marked Almost Gone, which on this retailer usually means it. Verify availability on the day you buy rather than trusting this page. There was no promo discount on it at any point, so $999.99 is the real number. Authentic cut runs large, and signed jerseys are single-size stock, so confirm what size is actually available. Hand signed with a Fanatics Authentic certificate.
Scottie Pippen Autographed 1988-89 Fleer Number 20 Rookie Card, Beckett Witnessed, with HOF 10 Inscription
This is the highest authentication tier anywhere in this guide. Beckett Fanatics Witnessed means a Beckett representative physically watched Pippen sign the card.
Beckett then graded the autograph a perfect 10 and sealed the card in a tamper-evident slab, so there is no chain-of-custody gap for anybody to argue about.
The 1988-89 Fleer number 20 is his true rookie card, from the set that also carries the Jordan card everybody knows.
HOF 10 is a hand-added inscription. He went into the Hall of Fame in 2010, and it is the sort of detail that separates a signed card from a signed card somebody thought about.
The 10 refers to the autograph, not to the card. This is not a BGS 10 card and describing it that way would be wrong by an order of magnitude in value. The card itself is a 1988 Fleer in whatever condition it is in, and what has been graded and guaranteed is the signature on top of it. The slab is sealed, so the card cannot be removed without destroying the authentication, which is a feature rather than a limitation. Marked Almost Gone, so check before you buy.
Michael Jordan Autographed Basketball by Upper Deck Authenticated
Upper Deck Authenticated is Michael Jordan's exclusive autograph partner, and has been for decades. He does not sign for anybody else.
That single fact is why this costs eight thousand dollars and why there is no cheaper genuine Jordan signature to find. It is not a market inefficiency you can shop around.
Every piece carries a tamper-evident UDA hologram cross-referenced against Upper Deck's own database, and this one is a Spalding ball signed in silver paint pen, which is the house standard on leather.
The practical version for a buyer: a Jordan signature without a UDA hologram should be treated as suspect until proven otherwise, whatever certificate is attached to it.
The clearest evidence for the exclusivity is what is missing elsewhere. Fanatics Authentic is the largest autograph retailer in the world and it carries no autographed Michael Jordan items at all, which is not an oversight. Practical notes: it is not framed and there is no display case at this price, and the signature is on leather and will fade under ultraviolet light, so a UV case is a genuine upgrade rather than an upsell. Upper Deck offers free shipping on orders over $99.
Michael Jordan Signed 1997-98 Away Jersey by Upper Deck Authenticated
The 1997 to 1998 road jersey, signed, from the season Phil Jackson himself named The Last Dance before it started.
It ended on June 14, 1998 in Salt Lake City: Utah up 86 to 83 with under forty-two seconds left, Jordan scores, strips Karl Malone in the post, then crosses back on Bryon Russell and hits a twenty-footer with 5.2 seconds on the clock. Bulls 87, Jazz 86.
Whether he pushed off is still argued. Jordan says Russell's momentum did the work. Jackson has acknowledged the contact. John Stockton called it legal and part of the game. Russell has been notably gracious about it.
That was the last shot he took as a Bull, and the roster was dismantled within weeks.
Fifteen thousand dollars is real money and this is a display piece rather than a gift in the ordinary sense, so it is here to mark the ceiling rather than because most readers will buy it. Note that the 1997-98 Bulls road jersey is red, which occasionally confuses people who expect away kits to be white. Upper Deck lists several other Jordan jerseys at the same $14,999.99, including the home jersey, the alternate, the 1989 All-Star and a Mitchell and Ness rookie. Framing and sizing are not stated on the listing, so ask before ordering.
Eat It
Three Chicago institutions that genuinely ship, one of them the only Bulls-branded food product in existence, plus an honest note about the two everybody asks for.
Chicago Style Hot Dog Kit, 16 Count, by Vienna Beef
Sixteen dogs, sixteen steamed poppy seed buns, neon green relish, sport peppers, celery salt and everything else required to drag one through the garden properly.
That works out at six dollars a person, which is the best value per head of anything in this guide including the twelve dollar emblem.
Vienna Beef has been in Chicago since 1893 and is the supplier behind a very large share of the stands in the city, so this is the actual product rather than an imitation of it.
It arrives frozen and heat-and-eat, with no assembly beyond warming things through, which makes it the least demanding food gift on the page.
It is perishable and ships frozen, so somebody needs to be home when it lands, and the delivery estimate you see today will have moved by the time you order. Sixteen servings makes this a party gift rather than a present for one person: if you want something smaller, the Eli's cheesecake sampler below is ready to eat and serves fewer. Free shipping is included in the price shown.
Original Favorites Cheesecake Sampler by Eli's Cheesecake
Eli's has been baking on the Northwest Side since 1980 and its cheesecake is the dessert Chicago sends when it wants to send something.
The sampler arrives ready to eat. No warming, no assembly, no timing anything. Of the three food items here it is the only one that requires nothing from the recipient.
It carries a 94 percent customer rating on Goldbelly across a very large order volume, which for a shipped perishable is a meaningful number.
There are optional add-ons at checkout including the Eli's cookbook at $26.95 and a hat at $20.95 if you want to build it out.
This is the food gift to pick when you do not know the recipient's kitchen, schedule or appetite for a project. It is also the right call for an office, which the hot dog kit is not. Still perishable and still needs refrigerating on arrival, so the same delivery-timing caution applies. Eli's has twenty-eight different items on Goldbelly, the deepest Chicago catalogue there, so if this particular sampler is wrong there are alternatives.
Two Lou Malnati's Deep Dish Pizzas plus a Garrett Popcorn Chicago Bulls Classic Tin
This is the only Bulls-branded food product that exists on Goldbelly, and it solves Lou Malnati's and Garrett Popcorn in a single order.
Lou Malnati's opened in 1971 and has used the same exclusive sausage blend and buttercrust since. It is a Goldbelly Star Shipper with over ten thousand on-time orders.
The tin is a licensed Chicago Bulls Garrett Classic tin, which matters because Garrett has no storefront of its own on Goldbelly. Bundled inside a Lou Malnati's order is the only way to get one shipped.
There are seventeen pizza combinations to choose from at checkout, including two heart-shaped options.
Three things. It ships with dry ice, which should not be handled with bare hands. The listing states outright that it is not eligible for discounts or promotions, so no Goldbelly code will ever apply to it. And the pizzas are nine inches, serving one to two each, so two pizzas feeds two to four people and not a room. If you want volume instead, the four-pizza Lou Malnati's pack is $133.99 but comes without the Bulls tin, which is the entire point of this one.
October 24
Washington, seven o'clock, the home opener, and the first one with Rose's number hanging up there.
Washington Wizards at Chicago Bulls, Saturday, October 24, 2026 at the United Center
Saturday, October 24, seven o'clock, and it is the home opener. The season starts two days earlier in Toronto, so this is the first night back in the building.
It is also the first home game of the Tiago Splitter era. Billy Donovan resigned after six seasons and Splitter was hired in June, having been Portland's interim coach.
And it is the first opening night with Derrick Rose's number 1 hanging up there, seven months after the ceremony. That is a genuinely good reason to take somebody this particular year.
With the quantity filter set to two seats together there were 315 listings, the cheapest pair at about $81 each in Upper Level 325, then $90 in Upper 307 and $90 in Upper 328. Fees are already included.
A Saturday-night home opener against Washington is one of the cheapest good nights on the calendar, which is why it is the pick. Lower level was showing around $205 to $228 and courtside past $700, so there is plenty of room to spend more if you want to. One scheduling note: the October 7, 9 and 16 dates at the United Center are preseason games and are much cheaper for a reason. Resale moves daily, so treat every figure here as a snapshot. The building is still called the United Center, with no naming rights change.
How Deep Does It Go?
Five questions. We will tell you what tier of Bulls fan you are shopping for, and what to actually buy them.
What Not to Buy a Bulls Fan
Five things that look sensible in a search result and land badly when the box is opened.
The Bottom Line
Buy the season, not the man. That is the whole thing.
Almost everybody shopping for a Bulls fan reaches for something that says Michael Jordan on it, and almost all of it is interchangeable. The gifts that land are the ones tied to a specific year, because a Bulls fan of a certain age can date any jersey on sight and will tell you what happened while wearing it. The 1996-97 Authentic at $350 is the Flu Game. The signed 1995-96 pinstripe at $999.99 is seventy-two wins. The signed 1997-98 is the last shot.
At the bottom of the page the twelve dollar emblem is the best small gift here, because it has no size, no fit, no return and it says the only thing that needs saying. The Jordan Rules at $18.63 is the best cheap gift, because it is the one account of that team written before anybody knew how the story ended, and Jordan was furious about it.
On autographs, be careful. Upper Deck Authenticated is Jordan's exclusive signing partner, which is why Fanatics Authentic carries no signed Jordan at all and why the entry price for a real one is around eight thousand dollars. If you want a genuine title-era Bulls signature without that, the Rodman rebound photograph at $139.99 is the cheapest honest way in, and it is a real hand signature with verifiable authentication.
One piece of timing. The home opener is Saturday, October 24 against Washington, seven o'clock, and pairs were showing from about $81 a seat with fees included. It is the first game of the Tiago Splitter era and the first opening night with Derrick Rose's number 1 in the rafters.
