What Is It?
We first heard about Tempo when we were doing our research for a similar brand, Mirror. We’ve used The Mirror at our old job for 14 days (in the office, mind you) to test it out. Honestly, we liked it, but for the money (at the time) we felt it was a little bit lacking. For us, at least.
We were hesitant to dive into Tempo Studio because we weren’t really sure we’d be into it. But, alas, the pandemic and quarantine had hit us, like it had for everyone, and since we were basically in a ball on the couch for 6-months with nothing to do and nowhere to go we knew it was time. Plus, our jeans no longer fit (not that we were wearing them).
At first we did have a little sticker shock at the price. It seemed a bit steep, but since we had to cancel our gym membership we knew this actually paid for itself after a little bit of time. Either way, at least we’d get actual exercise on the regular. What we love, love, love, about Tempo Studio is that not only is it sleek and clear to see, but it comes with all the additional things we need that we were missing since we’ve ben unable to hit the actual gym. Ours came with free-weights (dumbbells and barbells) and, um, they were colorful and so not gym-like, which was refreshing. It also came with a workout mat, recovery rollers, heart monitor, and more.
The classes truly are amazing and it really is like we have a personal trainer right in the room with us. Not only are there currently hundreds of online classes to choose from, but you get actual feedback specific to you based on how your form is (ours was always always terrible), it provides guidances based on your workout and goals, counts your reps, knowns how much you’ve been lifting and when you’re ready for an increase, and a ton more. It’s like you’ll want to cheat a little, but they won’t let you. We hate the accountability…even though we secretly love it deep down.

In the world we all live in now, we’re relieved to not be in our nasty germ infested gym and, instead, in our nasty germ infested home. But at least it’s our gross germs and no one else’s. We’re not saying we’ll never go to the gym again but, quite honestly, as of now with our Tempo and our NordicTrack bike we don’t really have plans to any time soon. If you were ever going to treat yourself, now’s the time. You deserve it.
Are There Promo Codes or Coupons?
Now we get this question emailed to us all the time. So that there isn’t any confusion, here’s the deal when it comes to coupon, promo codes, and the like. After a ton of research and an email to their customer service team, no, Tempo doesn’t have promo code offers at this time. And, to be clear, we don’t either. We wish! Trust us, we tried. We’ve seen a ton of offers on a bunch of different sites out there (you know the ones) and, honestly, anything we checked didn’t work for us. Does getting $1,000 off really seem like an offer that would be real?! Alas, we tried anyway. #Fail
We recommend to just check Tempo out directly on their own site because when they do have offers they’ll let you know.
