So what are these codes for? Attribution. Most carry a person’s name or a review site’s name, and they credit a sale to that partner. Entering one is unlikely to cost you anything, and it’s not a scam, but you shouldn’t expect the total to drop. If it does, we would genuinely like to hear about it.
