JR shows new customers a 15% off offer in a pop up when you go to leave its site. You click Unlock Savings and sign up with your email to get the code. JR allows one discount per order, so it's this or your points, not both.
JR's Overstock Sale covers more than 700 cigars from a long list of brands, with prices it advertises as up to 80% off retail. The picks further down this page came from it, and the deepest one we checked is 77% off. JR lists the offer as expiring 9/30/26.
The clearance section has more than 300 items that JR says start under $2 a cigar, on exclusive and discontinued blends. Stock moves, so sizes disappear. JR lists the offer as expiring 9/30/26.
JR gives 10% off to active and inactive military and veterans, active and non-active first responders, and doctors, nurses and hospital employees. You verify your service inside your JR account. It can't be combined with another order discount or coupon, and it doesn't apply to gift cards.
JR Insider is free and gives you 10 points for creating an account, 1 point per dollar spent, 10 points for a review and 50 points on your birthday. Every 1,000 points is $25 off, up to $200 off for 8,000 points. There's a limit of one discount per order, and points expire 90 days after you earn them.

Auto Ship lets you pick the cigars you buy regularly and the frequency you want them, and JR says there's no extra charge for the service. You set it up from your JR account.
Returns go back by mail within 30 days of purchase, and they have to be pre authorized by email first. Cigars sent back without authorization can be hit with a 50% restocking fee. Unopened boxes, bundles and tins can get a full refund minus shipping, and damaged deliveries need photos and a report within 72 hours.

How JR Cigars promo codes work
New customers get one code: a 15% off offer that shows up in a pop up when you move to leave the site. Beyond that, JR's deals are built into the price on the deal pages, so you add the cigars and the discount is already there.
The codes that do exist are tied to your account: JR Insider points you redeem in the cart, a referral coupon, and the verified military and medical discount. JR allows one discount per order, so these don't stack. Two offers we left off the cards because they need a multi buy: the 5-Pack Frenzy, where adding five or more 5-packs makes the cheapest one free and gets free economy shipping, and a sampler sale starting at $24.99.
Check the price per cigar, not the sticker price. A bundle of 20 at $38.39 works out to about $1.92 a stick, while a box of 25 at $113.99 is about $4.56.
