If it’s one thing my charbroiled heart loves, it’s people quitting their jobs in new and innovative ways. Who doesn’t entertain a job-quitting-dream-sequence from time to time? No really, I want names.
This week an Alaskan reporter, Charlo Greene, is going viral because she decided to quit her job live on air after she completed a piece on the Alaska Cannabis Club, which is Alaska’s only cannabis resource. Apparently she’s also the clubs leader. Just like Mickey Mouse! Allegedly.
Charlo finished her segment and then chimed in with the following:
Now everything you heard is why I, the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be dedicating all of my energy for fighting for freedom and fairness which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska…and as for this job, well, not that I have a choice but, fuck it it, I quit.”
Have more beautiful words ever been spoken? It’s like modern day poetry.
