Add some Homemade Baileys Irish Cream to your coffee this holiday season. Maybe wait until after dinner instead of starting off the day with it but, then again, after being home with your family for a few days, anything goes. It is even a good after dinner drink paired with cookies, cake or pie.
1 Cup Whipping Cream
14oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 2/3 Cups of Irish Whiskey
1 Teaspoon Instant Coffee
2 Tablespoons Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
I swapped out Instant Coffee for Turkish Coffee that comes in a fine powdered form. I am sure a shot of Espresso from your local coffee shop would work as well. I also prefer to make my own homemade Vanilla Extract, recipe here. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend for 30 seconds. Refrigerate in a tightly sealable bottle and it should keep for about two months but I wouldn’t expect it to stick around that long, enjoy!
