Elmer T. Lee

Elmer T. Lee (ETL) is distilled by the folks at Buffalo Trace.  Unlike Eagle Rare the mashbill for ETL is much more rye forward, bringing that rye spiciness upfront and, in my opinion, making this a delicious product.

The nose is sweet with vanilla notes.  The taste is spicy with the rye shining through around fruit and vanilla.  The finish is smooth and long.

For the reasonable price of around $40, ETL is a great value.  Go out and find yourself a bottle today.
