Parker's Heritage Collection Single Barrel

We love the Parker’s Heritage Collection (PHC) and this Single Barrel bottle doesn’t disappoint.  Parker Beam began working at the Heaven Hill Distillery in 1960.  These bottles support the ALS Foundation in memory of Parker Beam who was diagnosed with ALS in 2010 and passed away seven years later.

This particular bottle is from barrel number 5064193 which sat in Rickhouse AA in Deatsville on the first floor, Rick 17; barreled on July 25th, 2006.

The nose is thik with spices and a nice blend of sweet, dried fruit.  The taste is grainy with strong smokey, wood flavors.  The finish is long and dry with the fruit notes balancing out the heat.

This is a really great bottle with complex tastes from the 11 year aging process.
