fitNut Kale Ginger Smoothie Recipe

There are a million different types of smoothies on the market that promise and promote high energy, key nutrients, and metabolic stabilization. But here’s my favorite morning smoothie that’ll help you get through important moments of your day in a super powerful way!

FitNut Kale-Ginger Smoothie Recipe

This fruit and veggie blend is perfect as a morning vitality juice. It’s not a meal replacement because it doesn’t have the protein, carbohydrate, and fat ratio for metabolic stabilization – but it has powerful nutrients and vitamins for energy, fat burning, skin rejuvenation and brain function.

Kale Smoothie Ingredients:

  • 16 oz of cold, not iced, green tea or water to cut the caffeine
  • 1 cup of fresh kale
  • 1 diced celery root
  • 1 TBSP of fresh ginger root
  • 1 diced apple
  • ½ cup of pineapple or mango fruit
  • 1 TBSP of chia or hemp seeds

How to Make It:

Toss all the ingredients into your favorite blender and have it for 15-20 seconds. When making a kale smoothie, it’s typically best to use the highest speed setting available on your blender. Kale leaves can be quite fibrous, so a high-speed setting helps break down the tough fibers and ensures a smooth and creamy texture for your smoothie. If your blender has a “pulse” option, you might start with a few pulses to initially chop up the kale before blending continuously. This can help prevent any large kale pieces from remaining in the smoothie.

The best and only way to start the day.  That’s it!  Easy, right?
