With all the time we’ve been spending at home these days it’s really the best time to take some courses that can help our career or just some really cool things we’ve always wanted to learn (hello old dusty guitar that’s been in our basement for years). If you haven’t heard of Udemy before, your mind is about to be blown!
What Is It?
If you follow our review you know we are obsessed with MasterClass and, most recently, Udacity online classes. But we’re pretty sure our new favorite has to be Udemy because they seem to have the most well rounded classes for just about everyone. You can learn a wide variety of tech skills, coding, and programming, but you can also learn more digital marketing related skills, too, like Facebook marketing, Google Ads, Instagram marketing, and more! And here’s what we like the best; you can learn more fun things like how to play the guitar (or piano), how to draw, yoga, massage and so much more.
Udemy is actually the leading global marketplace for learning and teaching so if you’re a teacher and want to start creating an online program to sell, you can do that too! Since their inception they’ve had over 35 million students, 130,000 courses, 57,000 instructors, and they do it all in more than 65 different languages. Even better, 80% of Fortune 100 companies trust them for employee “upskilling.”
Since there’s a ton to choose from we wanted to help highlight some of their most popular courses like:
- The Latest in Web Development – See It Here
- IT + Software – See It Here
- Photography – See It Here
- A Variety of Music – See It Here
- Health + Fitness – See It Here
Most of these are actually really affordable, especially when compared to some other online learning programs. And they even have a pretty wide variety of free classes you can take too. So if you want to learn more about how to work your Excel spreadsheets or impactful ways to become an influencer, they’ve got your back! See some of their free classes here!
So now’s the perfect time to learn a little something and have a little fun all at the same time and on your own schedule. Whether you’re looking for yourself or want to gift someone else, there’s really something for everyone and at every level!
Are There Promo Codes or Coupons?
While there are a bunch of different ways to save (and they do, at times, have flash sales), no, Udemy doesn’t have promo codes or coupons in the way that you may be thinking. They don’t send them out to other websites (and, no, we don’t have them here either). They do, however, at times have discount codes by class at the discretion of the instructor and, like we said, at times they’ll have a sale where you can get select classes for up to 50% off, which is pretty amazing. Either way you have to visit them directly to see all their latest offers. Check out the latest here!
In the meantime here are the quickest ways to see the latest and greatest promos from Udemy in October 2020.
