CLEAN for Men Cologne 2016

It’s no surprise we have a love for all things CLEAN, especially their Shower Fresh cologne. We rated it as our top cologne for men in 2018. Recently, the folks at CLEAN launched their new scent, “Classic” and we had to give it a trial run to see what we thought.

CLEAN Classic cologne for men 2015 2016 scent

CLEAN Classic for Men – We loved the spicy wood musk that made this fragrance masculine, but light at the same time. Classic combines notes of bergamot, basil, juniper, berry, violet leaf, vetiver, and oud, which to be honest we weren’t entirely sure what most of those were, but it definitely smelled good.  It had a total summer feeling to it that can easily transition into early fall before it’s time to switch over to your colder weather cologne.  Yes, that’s  a thing.   – Buy It Here For $74.00

CLEAN Shower Fresh for Men cologne 2016

CLEAN Shower Fresh for Men – Still our go-to cologne this season.  CLEAN Shower Fresh truly makes you feel like you just stepped out of the shower with a crisp, energizing, and refreshing sensation.  It’s light enough, scent-wise, so it doesn’t smell like you’ve been trying too hard, yet it’s uniquely strong enough that you’ll typically get a compliment on how great you smell.  It’s like a ice-breaker with a stranger.  What’s better than that?  Shower Fresh combines notes of bergamot, lemon, thyme, lilly of the valley, spearmint, cedarwood, jasmine and black tea.  – Buy It Here For $74.00

The Verdict?  You can’t go wrong with either of these.  If we had to choose we’d go with Shower Fresh for the spring and summer and switch over to Classic towards the beginning of the fall.  For us, Classic really did feel “classic” because it reminded us of the cologne of yesteryear we used to use, but with an updated twist.  So it was comforting and familiar, but still has that CLEAN touch to it.
