Rogue John John Ale

By: Ross | Last Major Update: August 6, 2015

Rogue John John Ale

The label states that it is ‘Dead Guy Ale Aged in Dead Guy Whiskey barrels’.  The Rogue Brewmaster John Maier and Rogue Spirits Master Distiller John Couchot take the Rogue Dead Guy Ale and age it in their Dead Guy Whiskey barrels.

The nose is is sweet and malty.  The sweetness comes through in the taste with some caramel notes.  The finish has a subtle hint of hopes and oak that nicely balances out the sweetness.
