I have to admit, I haven’t bought a sweatshirt in years. Sure the occasional hoodie but a sweatshirt sans hood made me feel like I was someone on the cast of Roseanne. I’ve been seeing the sweatpants trend for a couple of months now and I must admit I was eager to jump on the bandwagon once I saw this elephant sweatshirt at J. Crew.

Here’s the deal, it fits great. It’s not like the oversized bulky sweatshirts of yesteryear. And it doesn’t roll under at the waist, which still scars me from the late 80’s. Plus, it has an elephant on the front so how cool is that? As an added bonus, this sweatshirt is classified under the “Garments for Good” clause and 100% of the net proceeds from this sweatshirt will be donated to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust that rescues and helps protect orphaned elephants (and orphaned rhinos) in East Africa from ivory poaching and extinction. I mean, and it also looks great. I like to look goodand help elephants so this was a real win-win for me. #Dumbo
