If you find yourself in Norway in the middle of February, you are going to a want to check out the Ice Music Festival. Through some sort of Nordic magic, various musical instruments are created out of frozen water aka ice. In and of itself, this a major accomplishment. But, what is even more impressive is the ice instruments actually work and sound amazing. In fact, The stage, venue, instruments and decorations are all built exclusively out of snow and ice from the local area.
According to their facebook page, “the Ice Music Festival is a grand ovation to the grand nature, and, to the most important recourse in the world; water.”
There is something beyond magical about watching a woman play an ice harp. Elsa eat your heart out.
