Legendary PBS host and painter of The Joy of Painting is just about to go viral again, but this time thanks to the folks of Reddit who started up a thread chatting about Bob Ross “pre-afro.” You know, as one would discuss on “The Internet.” Apparently he looked like Nick Jonas with early Vanilla Ice hair:
In case you didn’t know, B.Ro (as we will now refer to him as) enlisted in the military when he was only 17 years old and was pretty much a bad ass who yelled and screamed at everyone because, well, that’s what his role entailed. However, once he was out of the military he dedicated his life to “never yelling” again and, luckily for us, that meant growing out his afro and painting “happy little trees” on free television on Saturday afternoon when my parents would both take naps on the couch.
Should I have titled this “Breaking News?”
