It was a high of 70 degrees today in New York City so, of course, that means it’s time to break out the plaid button-downs and start thinking about late-Fall jackets that really push the season to the limits.  Sure I know it’s still technically Summer, but J Crew and I are on the same page so if they’re going to start showing me some jackets, well, then I’m going to start buying them.

Introducing the Flight Jacket by Wallace & Barnes.  I’m totally digging how J. Crew is continuing their love affair with W & B.  My wallet, on the other hand, isn’t so psyched.  This jacket is inspired by the style the military wore in the 40’s and 50’s.  It comes in dried-olive green (nylon/cotton) and a Sherpa lined collar with waist pockets.  I’m all in.

I hear they run a little on the smaller side so either (A) buy up a size or (B) start running.  Those are both instructions for me, but feel free to use them too.

(J. Crew $328)
