Where to Buy the Super Nintendo Mini SNES 2017 - 2018

We have to admit, all of our retro and nostalgic video game prayers have really been coming true lately.  This time around word on the street is that Nintendo will be releasing its Super Nintendo as “Super Nintendo Mini SNES” this coming holiday season. After the insane success that was the “Nintendo Classic Mini” last Christmas (oh you remember when you wanted it more than your kids did, but you still couldn’t get your hands on it and then when you did find it online the price was jacked up to college tuition levels?) the powers to be at Nintendo might be feeling like they want to give it another run and hopefully not make this a short limited-time offer.

According to our friends at Eurogamer, the SNES will most likely be the easy “plug-and-play” setup and will also come pre-loaded with a variety of some of their top selling games.  Our hope is that we’ll at least be able to play the following:

  1. Super Mario World
  2. Mortal Kombat II
  3. Bulls vs. Blazers and the NBA Playoffs
  4. Final Fight
  5. Captain Commando
  6. Super Star Wars:  Return of the Jedi
  7. F-Zero
  8. Super Street Fighter II
  9. Mega Man X
  10. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV
  11. Super Mario Kart
  12. The Legend of Zelda:  A Link to the Past

But that’s just us.  You probably have your own list.

So here’s to hoping that Christmas 2017 is all about the SNES mini!  In the meantime, get everything you need for your own Super Nintendo Here!
